Oviraptor(Oh-vih-rap-tuh)
Oviraptor, a Cretaceous carnivore, was one of the strangest looking
dinosaur. With a beak like a bird and a strange looking crest that might
be use for attracting a mate. The beak might suggest that Oviraptor eat
eggs, using its beak like mouth to crack open the egg shells. And to prove
that Oviaptor's diet are eggs, scientist (Palaeontologist)found an Oviraptor
near a nest which might be a Protoceratop's nest, but that was a mistake.
Years later, scientist found out that the eggs were actually the Oviraptor's
own nest!
Scientist also found 2 young Velociraptor skull near its nest. The
skulls were crushed. Perhaps the Oviraptor caught them in the act of eating
its eggs.
